Vikings run rule Liberty Christian

Fort Worth, TX - It was business as usual for the Vikings Friday night at home. Led by another dominant performance on the mound by junior Makena Uranga, the Vikings beat the Warriors 11-1. The Vikings scored six runs in the bottom of the 5th to end the game.

Makena, who is being recruited by several division I schools, struck out eight, allowed two hits and did not give up an earned run.

Offensively Damaris Saldivar continued her great season at the plate, collecting three more hits and scoring three times. Brooklyn Bennett also had three hits as well as two RBIs.

Center fielder Lauren Cademartori had herself a night at the plate as well finishing with two hits and two RBIs.

With the win, the Vikings stay atop the district standings, maintaining their undefeated record. The Vikings are closing in on back-to-back district titles.

The Vikings will travel to All Saints Tuesday night for another district matchup. First pitch is scheduled for 6 pm.
